Our nursing home in Avonhaugh is located in the village of Stonehouse, easily reachable by public transport and only 5 minutes from the M74. We're registered to care for up to 45 residents in both single and double bedrooms.

As soon as you arrive at Avonhaugh, you'll be made to feel welcome and comfortable. On their first day, we'll try our best to help residents settle in, allowing them time to adjust to the new surroundings. Once ready, we'll introduce them to their key worker and they'll get a guided tour of the home whilst being introduced to other residents and staff members. Once settled, our carers will spend some time getting to know their new resident properly, unless of course some time alone is preferred.

• Respite care (Bookings can be made 12 months in advance)
  Provides a break for both carers and the people they care for. If you are caring for somebody, you must take care of yourself too. That's when a short stay can be ideal. If your carer needs a break, or if you live alone and need temporary help then respite care could be for you.
• Residential care
  Is for people who find it difficult to cope at home without help. Every aspect of our residential care has been designed to make sure our residents feel very much at home and as happy and comfortable as possible. To do this we offer a wide range of personalised care and support.
• Nursing care
  Offers 24 hour personal support, with care from qualified registered nurses. It's ideal when you have an illness or disability that needs frequent and complex nursing attention.
